Day 1

We depart early morning to Folkestone for our early morning Eurotunnel to Calais. We arrive in Bruges mid-afternoon. With picturesque canals and intricate gabled houses, it is no wonder Bruges is often referred to as the 'Venice of the North'. It is one of the most beauitful and best preserved medieval cities in Europe. Our hotel is situated a few steps from the Grote Markt (Main Square) - a perfect location! In the evening enjoy dinner locally in one of the many restaurants within a stones throw of the hotel, serving delightful, tasty Flemish dishes. Not forgetting over 500 varieties of Beer!

Day 2

The day is free to explore this pretty medieval city. The intoxicating scent of fresh waffles lingers in Bruges Christmas market, and the streets are dressed like gingerbread houses with festive fairy lights reflected in the canal. Hop on a horse-drawn carriage for a snow-dusted tour of the cobbles, or linger in one of Europe's most charming Christmas markets, with ample time to sample the mouth-watering Belgian chocolate. Climb to the top of the Belfry or maybe enjoy a canal cruise.

Day 3

A leisurely start to the day followed by a hearty breakfast in the restaurant before we bid farewell to Bruges and retrace our steps home.
