Day 1
An early morning departure before we head south for our lunchtime crossing to France. We head to Valkenburg to check in to our centrally located hotel. Time to freshen up and Dinner in the Restaurant.
DDay 2
This morning enjoy a leisurely stroll into the centre of this adorable and charming town. Visit Santa's atmospheric Christmas village, cosy chalets filled with Christmas gifts, enjoy delicious hot waffles, 'oliebollen, crêpes and churros, hot chocolate and mulled wine. A 3 Course Lunch - 2:30pm is enjoyed at the hotel , before we head to the Concert Arena in Maastricht to watch the beloved Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in his hometown. It will be a performance you will never forget! Find yourself completely immersed in a lavish Christmas Winter Wonderland! Day 3
A day at leisure in Valkenburg.The Castle ruins tower majestically above the medieval streets and the whole place exudes a festive atmosphere.
There will be the opportunity to vist the largest of Valkenburg's underground Caves. Join us as we journey through the cave aboard a tourist train. Here we discover the oldest marl cave in the Netherlands home to the resistance during 2WW, witness mural paintings, plaques, sculptures and shelters dating right back to the cold war. Our Tour completes with admission/entrance into the festively lit marlstone corridors of its underground Christmas Market.
Enjoy our final evening with Dinner in the Restaurant.
Day 4
This morning we bid farewell to this beautiful Dutch town and head to the ferry port and our journey home.
