Day 2
This morning we enjoy a hearty breakfast in the Restaurant before heading to Hever Castle. With 80,000 daffodil bulbs set to bloom across Hever Castle’s gardens this spring, feel uplifted by the cheerfulness of this exquisite bloom which symbolises new beginnings. Enjoy a self-led tour of the gardens and take in their beauty at your own pace. Walk in Astor’s footsteps and discover the daffodils that we know would have been in bloom when he lived at Hever. Some of the daffodils pre-date Astor too, some we know to be a couple of hundred years old due to the depth at which they are planted.
Head into the Castle and you will see wonderful floral displays in selected rooms that simply enhance its beauty. A delightful day in what was once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.
We return home early evening.
