The landscape of the North East is possibly England’s best kept secret!
The landscape of the North East is possibly Englands best kept secret. This unspoilt region is flanked by beautiful golden beaches, over 100 miles of superb coastline and dotted with mighty castles and ancient monuments which bear testament to battles of a byegone era. We stay 3 nights in County Durham, which for many centuries was virtually an independent state, ruled not by Kings but by powerful Prince Bishops.
