Day 1
We head today to Cairnryan and our afternoon Stena Line sailing to Belfast. We check into the Dunadry Hotel.
DDay 2
This morning our scenic journey takes us via the Antrim Coast to the amazing volcanic feature, The Giant's Causeway. Our day continues on 'one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the world' as described by Michael Palin - The famous coastal line between Coleraine and Londonderry. Our base for the next 2 Nights is the Innishowen Gateway Hotel.
B, DDay 3
Join us today as we travel to Malin Head, the most northerly point in the Emerald Isle. With the wild Atlantic Ocean as its neighbour, epic coastal scenery is guaranteed. We continue to the old walled city of Londonderry. Enjoy its winding streets and history on our guided tour imparted by our local Derry guide.
B, DDay 4
A beatiful scenic journey takes us through the Glenveagh National Park, literally heaven on earth; peaceful, beautiful, charming and historical. We visit Glenveagh, overlooking the peaceful waters of Lough Veagh. The chance to explore the gardens, before we venture on to Donegal Town whiich boasts a panoramic backdrop provided by the Blue Stack Mountains and a stately Castle. Our Hotel this evening is the Great Northern in Bundoran.
B, DDay 5
This morning we ride along the shore of Lough Erne to Glaslough, a picturesque magical village in Co. Monaghan. This afternoon a visit to Hillsborough Castle, the official Northern Ireland residence of HM The Queen. Leading members of the Royal Family have regularly visited Northern Ireland since 1922, using Hillsborough as their ceremonial and personal base. The next 2 nights are spent at the Dunadry Hotel.
B, DDay 6
This morning begins with a guided tour of Belfast with a local guide. Free time for Lunch is followed by a visit to the Titanic Experience. Learn the story of the legendary ocean liner and her fateful journey across the Atlantic. We return to the Dundadry for our final evening.
B, DDay 7
After a hearty breakfast we head to Belfast Port and our 1130am sailing back to Cairnryan.
