Day 1
We depart early morning and travel to Holyhead for our sailing to Dublin. On arrival we head to our hotel in County Wexford to check in and freshen up before dinner in the restaurant. Enjoy live music after dinner.
DDay 2
After a hearty Irish breakfast, we make our way to Waterford, Ireland's oldest City and home to Waterford Crystal. We include a visit to their magnificent new home - feel the heat of the furnace! After we head to Kilkenny, with its imposing castle, medieval cobbled streets, Elizabethan architecture and olde worlde charm. We return to Enniscorthy mid afternoon to enjoy free time in this delightful town.
B, DDay 3
Today we visit Dublin including a City Tour with a local guide. It's rich history is in evidence all around you from medieval castles and cathedrals to the splendour of the 18th C when Dublin was a handsome Georgian City in the Empire. Experience Dubliners at their most convivial in one of the local pubs - there are over a 1,000 to choose from.
B, DDay 4
We venture today into the magnificent Wicklow Mountains National Park. Stunning mountains, gushing streams, picturesque rivers, dramatic scenerey, birds of prey and rare wild flowers. We visit Glendalough one of Ireland's most beautiful destinations with its ancient monastic settlement dating back to the 6th C. The picturesque village of Avoca the setting for the BBC series Ballykissangel is also a stopping point for us. Not forgetting Sally's Gap, where filmmakers brought a little bit of Scotland to Ireland when filming Braveheart.
B, DDay 5
This morning after breakfast, we bid farewell and head back to Dublin for our crossing home.
