Day 1

We depart local area and head to the picturesque Medieval market town of Saffron Walden, with its many independent shops and eateries. We ontinue our journey to arrive mid-afternoon to the Five Lakes Resort. Settle into your surroundings before enjoyng Dinner and Entertainment. The All-Inclusive Drinks Package commences at 3:00pm on arrival day and completes 10:00am on departure day.

Day 2

A scenic half day takes in the Suffolk landscape, including the picture postcard medieval village of Lavenham with over 300 listed buildings. We return to Five Lakes in time for Lunch.

Day 3

This morning, after breakfast, join us to Maldon, one of the oldest recorded towns in Essex with its many medieval buildings, the most striking being the Moot Hall with its balcony and pillars stretching across the pavement on to the high street. Once a thriving port, Maldon's wharves were kept busy unloading ships laden with timber and other materials. Witness it's collection of barges lovingly preserved by their owners with some used as pleasure craft.

Day 4

Day at Leisure - Enjoy all the facilities this splendid resort has to offer. You will be spoiled for choice, as the list is endless. Indulge yourself in a visit to the Spa, offering a range of treatments, plus an Indoor Pool, Sauna and Steam Room. Join in a huge variety and range of daily activities to suit all tastes.

Day 5

After a leisurely start to the day, we bid farewell to Five Lakes and commence our journey home. We make a stop in the Leicestershire town of Market Harborough a charming market town full of history, culture, delicious food and independent retailers.
