Day 1
Heading North, we make a stop in the border town of Gretna Green. We continue on to Drymen, arriving at our hotel late afternoon. Our accommodation is nestled in the centre of the picturesque hillside village of Drymen just 3 miles from the shores of Loch Lomond.
DDay 2
We begin our day with a visit to Kilbryde Castle. We enjoy a Tea or Coffee and short bread, before strolling the grounds to admire the snowdrops. We return to the hotel for a light Soup/Sandwich Lunch before our visit this afternoon to Glengoyne Whisky Distillery, with stunning views over the waterfall anf Glen. Enjoy a guided informative visit and a wee dram to complete our day. Dinner once again included this evening followed by Live Entertainment.
B, L, DDay 3
After breakfast, we head to Stirling, with its beautifully preserved old town - we include a visit to the Castle. After we continue into the heart of the beautiful Trossachs National Park with its wooded glens, spectacular mountains and glistening waters. We make a stop in the delightful town of Callander, befor returning back to the hotel.
B, DDay 4
Our day today takes us to Falkirk where we firstly visit 'The Kelpies' - the world's largest equine statues. We included a guided walking tour - experience a Kelpie from the inside. Time for lunch before we head to the Falkirk Wheel - the world's only rotating boatlift. This exhilarating boat ride starts at the Forth & Clyde Canal before we are lifted some 35 meters to cruise along the Union Canal.
B, DDay 5
After a hearty Scottish breakfast we re-board our coach to commence our journey south.

Our accommodation is the lovely Hotel Winnock, nestled in the centre of the picturesque hillside village of Drymen, 3 miles from the shores of Lock Lomond. A former 18th Century Inn, it oozes character offering a traditional bar with log fire. All en-suite rooms offer flat screen TV, tea/coffee hospitality tray and hairdryer. Rooms are accommodated over 2 floors. There is no lift, however there are some ground floor rooms. There is entertainment on 3 evenings - including a live Scottish show. This fabulous programme includes a glass of wine at dinner each evening, plus an all inclusive bar 7:30pm - 10:30pm. Selected beer, wines and house spirits - enjoy!
