Day 1

Our journey takes us into the scenic Yorkshire Dales and a lunch stop in the beautiful town of Hawes. We continue to Penrith and the North Lakes Hotel & Spa, nestled on the edge of the Lake District National Park Time to settle in before dinner is served in the Restaurant.

Day 2

Our scenic day begins with a steam train journey from Haverthwaite station through to Lakeside. Here we board our Steamer to cross to the lakeside resort of Bowness on Windermere. Free time in this picturesque setting to enjoy lunch and sightseeing.

Day 3

A hearty breakfast before making our way to Leighton Hall, home to the furniture making 'Gillow' dynasty. In addition to our included informative house tour, wander through the spectacular grounds and pretty gardens. In the afternoon, we head to the lovely market town of Kendal.

Day 4

Enjoy the scenic splendour today of Ullswater. We travel via Ambleside to board our cruise at Glenridding. Many consider Ullswater to be the hidden gem of the Lake District and the most beautiful of the English Lakes. Our day completes with a visit to Keswick, encircled by cloud-capped fells and nestled alongside the idyllic, island-studded lake of Derwentwater.

Sadly, we bid farewell to this picturesque location. Our journey takes us into Cheshire and a lunch stop in the beautiful and thriving market town of Knutsford
