Day 1

We head to Babbacombe to arrive at our accommodation early afternoon. Situated on the beautiful English Riviera, Babbacombe is a stunning coastal resort on the edge of Torquay. The Babbacombe Hotel enjoys stunning views across Lyme Bay.

Day 2

This morning after breakfast we head to charming Totnes. After free time in this delightful town we board the South Devon Railway and ride the 7 miles journey along the stunning river Dart to Buckfastleigh. Here we have the chance to visit the Abbey Church in the grounds of this working monastery, nestled in the shadow of Dartmoor.

Day 3

Day at Leisure - Today is free to enjoy all the delights of Babbacombe. You will find independent shops, cosy tearooms and many attractions including the Babbacombe Model Village, Bygones Victorian Museum and its Cliff Top Railway. This evening there is the opportunity to enjoy the local entertainment at the Babbacombe Theatre (Optional).

Day 4

This morning we head to the picturesque fishing port of Brixham, which revolves around a busy harbour, lined with pubs and cafes serving the fishermen's daily catch. We return to Babbacombe early afternoon.

Day 5

After breakfast enjoy a leisurely day in Sidmouth. Dominated by the vivid red sandstone cliff which dates back to the Triassic period, a stroll along the Millenium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach is a must! Enjoy its stylish cafes, independent shops and coastal walks.

Day 6

After breakfast, join us to Teignmouth. A real hidden gem, originally a small fishing port. In the afternoon we head to Dawlish - one of the UK's finest beach resorts recognisable by its distinctive sand dunes. A little piece of Devon all to yourself!

Day 7

This morning we make our way to Tiverton for our cruise along the Grand Western Canal, aboard one of the last horse drawn barges. We return to Babbacombe early afternoon.

After a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell and commence our journey back home.

Our accommodation is The Babbacombe Hotel, set on the seafront enjoying the fantastic coastline from its Bar and Restaurant windows. All rooms offer en suite accommodation with walk in showers, tea/coffee making facilities and digital flat screen TV's. There will be the opportunity to enjoy an evening at ‘The Babbacombe Theatre’ - always a very entertaining evening (Optional).
