DDay 2
A hearty breakfast before our scenic full day in this stunning and varied landscape of steep river gorges, waterfalls, lakes, mighty peaks and diverse scenery, taking in one of the most beautiful places in the park 'Dolgellau', followed by Barmouth - where the mountains meet the sea.
B, DDay 3
A journey of a lifetime to the rooftop of Wales to Snowdon at 3,560ft, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Britain's only public rack and pinion mountain railway, one of the most unique and wonderful railway journeys in the world.
B, DDay 4
This morning, after a hearty breakfast, we make our way to Porthmadog to board the Welsh Highland Railway for our scenic 2 hour journey through the Snowdonia National Park to Caernarfon. Admire the town's narrow streets and stylishly redeveloped waterfront and its mighty Castle built in the 13thC by Edward I as a Royal Palace and Military Fortress.
B, DDay 5
A hearty leisurely breakfast before we board the Llanberis Lake Railway. Vintage steam engines rescued from nearby Dinorwic slate quarries and lovingly restored take us on a 5 mile return journey alongside Lake Pardarn right in the heart of Snowdonia. We then continue to Llandudno ' Queen of the Welsh Resorts' for lunch...the perfect end to our visit before heading home!
